Job Role:
The Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management solutions. The role involves gathering business requirements, translating them into system solutions, conducting user training, and ensuring the effective utilization of D365 Supply Chain modules to support business operations and strategic objectives.
A) Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Document business processes, functional specifications, and solution designs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through system enhancements.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules according to business requirements.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Recommend best practices aligned with Microsoft standards and industry practices.
Supply Chain Functional Areas
Provide functional expertise in:
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Product Information Management
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Transportation Management
- Master Planning
- Demand Forecasting
- Production Control (Manufacturing)
- Vendor Management
- Quality Management
Testing & User Acceptance
- Prepare functional design documents and test scenarios.
- Execute system testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate solutions to ensure business requirements are met.
Training & Support
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare training materials.
- Provide functional support and troubleshoot business process issues.
- Assist users in adopting system enhancements and new functionalities.
Integration & Collaboration
- Work closely with technical consultants, developers, and third-party vendors.
- Support integrations between D365 and other enterprise systems.
- Coordinate with project managers and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
- Stay updated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain features and releases.
Participate in system upgrades and enhancement projects.
B) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly preferred.
C) Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP consulting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in full-cycle ERP implementation projects.
- Experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing environments is preferred.
D) Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules.
- Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
- Knowledge of business process mapping and documentation.
- Understanding of integrations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft ecosystem is an advantage.
E) Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within project teams.
- Strong presentation and training skills.
F) Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate.
- Experience working in GCC countries is an advantage.
- Experience with multinational organizations or large-scale ERP projects.
- Arabic and English proficiency.
